I have lived in Clifton Forge most of my life. My wife, Jenny, and I raised two sons here and have found it to be a great place to live. I worked for the US postal service for forty-two years, retiring as Postmaster of Low Moor, VA. I also served with the Virginia National Guard for thirty years, retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant. David, my oldest son, lives with his wife Robin and two sons, Ryan and Colin, in Powahatan, VA. Bill lives with his wife, Amy and two children, Christian and Mary Alice, in Wilmington, NC. I have served on the Free Clinic Board, Zoning Board, Elder Board at the CF Presbyterian Church, CEDS Board and at present I’m serving on CFDC Board and as Chairman of the CFEDA and Mayor of the town of Clifton Forge.
